Education • Trust • Human Resource Development between Myanmar and Japan

Bridge to the Future

Myanmar is home to many young people who are full of enthusiasm, talent, and limitless potential.

At the same time, changes in the economic and social environment have created a reality in which many young people have limited access to quality education and opportunities to pursue the careers they aspire to.

In Japan, the declining working-age population caused by a rapidly aging society has led to a growing shortage of human resources across a wide range of industries.

We believe that creating a “cycle of human resource development” can help address these challenges in both Japan and Myanmar while contributing to sustainable development in both countries.

To make this vision a reality, we believe it is essential to value and nurture the dreams of young people.

“I want to work in Japan.”
“I want to acquire skills and knowledge in Japan.”
“I want to support my family.”
“I want to start my own company in the future.”
“One day, I want to build a career that connects Japan and Myanmar.”

Every individual has a different dream.

We work together with each person to find a path toward realizing that dream. We provide the education and opportunities they need and support young people so that they can build their own future with confidence and determination.

Our role is not simply to send human resources from Myanmar to Japan.

We are committed to identifying the potential of each young person in Myanmar and providing them with the Japanese language skills, knowledge of Japanese culture and society, and professional attitudes they need to work, learn, and grow in Japan—before responsibly sending them to their new opportunities.

Our mission is also to nurture human resources who can use the experience and skills they gain in Japan to contribute to the future development of Myanmar.

Working in Japan is about much more than simply having a job.

In Japanese workplaces, young people can acquire valuable skills and knowledge while learning the importance of punctuality, responsibility, teamwork, consideration for others, and many other values through their experiences in Japanese society and the workplace.

These experiences become valuable assets that can shape their lives and future.

In time, those who have gained experience in Japan may return to Myanmar, contribute to Japanese-affiliated and Myanmar companies, and pass on their knowledge and experience to the next generation.

At the same time, we hope that Japanese companies will find new opportunities for growth by meeting talented and trustworthy human resources from Myanmar.

Connecting Dreams with Opportunities

  • Connecting the dreams of young people with Japanese companies.
  • Connecting learning and experience in Japan with the future of Myanmar.
  • Connecting trust between people with stronger bonds between nations.

Kakehashi Myanmar will continue to move forward as a “bridge” between Japan and Myanmar, placing education and trust at the heart of everything we do.

A Bridge That Connects the Dreams of Young People to the Future

That is the mission of Kakehashi Myanmar.
